Pineapple Pistachio Vanilla


Pistachio and pineapple?! Huh?? I was not expecting this to be as good as it is. The pistachios deliver a deep richness and a nutty earthiness and the pineapples are tart and tropical. Your taste buds are in for a wild ride. It has excellent consistency, and is a fantastic way to end your evening.
Ingredients
- Scoop of Levels vanilla whey protein powder
- 90g pineapple juice
- 150g pineapple chunks
- 28g shelled pistachios
- 10g vanilla extract
- Skim milk to the max fill line (roughly 100g)
- An additional 20-30ml of milk when respinning
Directions
Start by adding the pineapple juice and chunks to the pint, then adding in the pistachios, and finally the vanilla extract.
Add the protein and milk & mix until most of the protein is mixed into the milk. Don't worry about it being completely smooth, the blade will take care of the lumps when we make it.
Freeze for 12 hours minimum.
Spin on the Ice Cream setting, then run under hot water for 30 seconds. Using a spoon, make a hole to the bottom of the container, and add the additional milk.
Spin for a second time on Respin.
