Classic Vanilla

Leo Biette-Timmons

Vanilla Creami

While I share a lot of crazy and somewhat complex flavors, there's a time and place for classic vanilla. It's probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to taste and caloric value. It's versatile enough for a (diet) root beer float on a cut, and a chipwich (with my healthier chocolate chip cookies)

Every base I use skim milk & Levels vanilla whey protein powder, unless otherwise noted.

Without further ado...

Ingredients

  • Scoop of Levels vanilla whey protein powder
  • 250ml skim milk
  • 8g vanilla extract
  • 8g maple syrup
  • An additional 20-30ml of milk when respinning

Directions

Add all the ingredients to the pint container & mix until most of the protein is mixed into the milk. Don't worry about it being completely smooth, the blade will take care of the lumps when we make it.

Freeze for 12 hours minimum.

Spin on the Ice Cream setting, then run under hot water for 30 seconds. Using a spoon, make a hole to the bottom of the container, and add the additional milk.

Spin for a second time on Respin.

Enjoy!
